M. LEPREA
In 1989, the lives of two families are intertwined as they cross the US/Mexico border. Rallying against the harsh conditions of the desert, border guards and the fact that the child of one family has contracted the HIV virus, the main character must fight the misogynistic father who would jeopardize their lives for his version of the American dream. To overcome these obstacles, they must pull together and seek refuge in a US sanctuary city.
